The school was originally opened in 1892 and after many re-organisations, additions and extensions currently boasts nursery, infant and junior school accommodation for 500 pupils.
The Architects brief was to upgrade the accommodation and design more internal space into the extensive grounds.
Having tendered and won the contract, the specialist team from Callidus, very experienced in school surveys, undertook to survey the school during term time. This required working flexibly around classes and playtimes to minimise disruption. Callidus also braved the snows of South London to complete the full plan, elevational and topographical survey. All external faces were drawn, together with extensive plans of the sprawling, mainly single storey school buildings.
